Our Mission
Mental health by the spoons incorporates two stories to illustrate our understanding of mental health. The first is Spoon Theory, which discusses how individuals have a limited number of "spoons" to utilize each day and the importance of managing them. The second story involves a group of people attempting to eat soup with spoons that have excessively long handles, succeeding only when they feed each other. Both concepts are essential for good mental health. To support this, counseling services and mental health workshops can help us learn to manage our personal spoons while also fostering a community that takes care of each other. Additionally, for those affected by early psychosis, understanding these dynamics becomes even more crucial.
